I offer therapy in a safe environment, providing confidential, non-judgemental support to help you explore the difficulties that have led you to seek help. I strive to build a supportive and trusting relationship through listening and talking, to work through issues that may be upsetting you. We will explore these problems together and find ways to manage feelings that may overwhelm you, challenge self defeating behaviour, identify goals and increase motivation to change, through sessions tailor made to meet your needs.
I specialise in working with emotional difficulties such as relationship issues, loss (of others, of relationships and of self), trauma, emotional avoidance or codependency, anxiety, depression, shame, self esteem issues and addictions. I aim to build a strong sense of self, good self esteem, healthy relationships with others, but most importantly a healthy relationship with yourself.
Personal and professional integrity is extremely important to me and I strive to ensure this informs everything I do. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their code of ethics.
I am also a qualified life coach and have worked with many clients who feel stuck to identify their goals and map out a plan to attain them.
